Competition is everywhere with the actor Rakshanda Khan he says he has nothing but gratitude for his competitors. However, the actor, who is currently seen in Dangal TV’s Janam Janam ka Sath, says that sometimes he misses out on his roles, not because he lacks talent.

“Competition is great as long as it is healthy. Yes, sometimes I feel I lose roles to people not because of talent but because of budget. But I realized that what was said to me always comes to me, in all areas of life. So, the only thing I can show in life is gratitude, even in competition,” he said.

Talking about his current program, he says that he loves his role.

“The title Janam Janam Ka Saath reveals the story in an instant. It is a love story that spans almost a century. A love that cannot be fulfilled in one birth, the lovers had to be born again to fulfill their love story. I play a character called Dr. Karuna Tomar, a hero, Abeer Tomar’s mother. The kind of mother whose whole world revolves around her son. He would do anything for her. It is the same with the son. The Tomar family has a dark secret connected to the eldest son in every generation and the mother has to protect Abeer from it. “

He adds,

“What immediately drew me to this character was the mother-son relationship. She is willing to do whatever it takes for her child to be healthy and that is another trait that every mother watching this show will share.”

The actress says that it is very important for the show to have a strong theme.

“In every show people work hard, but still some win and some don’t. What separates them from each other is the content. “People will buy something if you make it look credible and consistent,” he said.

Meanwhile, while others may feel playing the same role every day is fun, Rakshanda says she loves it.

“For someone like me, being regular works. I’m happy to come to the same set, meet the same people, create a deep bond. I’m not someone who adapts to a new place easily. So I’m very happy to be a part of long-term things. Short-term relationships and shows bother me,” he said.

He also says that stories on television have appeared.

“So I’ve always felt that television as a medium is undervalued by women, but in the last few years things have changed and we’re seeing more strong characters. The balance is a bit off about women but I think I like it that way! ” you say.

Coming back to his show, he says he loves spending time on set.

“I think when we’re on set we create our own version of the Fab Four. I am Nikki, Asmita and Gaurav together most of the time. On screen Karuna is very much in love with Abeer and Trishala but Nikki is such a lovely girl that she can melt anyone’s heart. So while Asmita and I are munching on ice-creams, Gaurav and I are discussing every possible food combo, Nikki is the one who interjects into every conversation and makes her own. I feel lucky to have met these three because they make the job look good,” he said.
