A Pennsylvania teenager was arrested Friday after police say he confessed to the murder in an Instagram video chat. Authorities said a girl’s body was later found in the teenager’s car.

On Friday, a woman called 911 to report that a teenager, later identified as 16-year-old Joshua Cooper, had sent her daughter an Instagram video saying she was dead. He was shot by a man, Bensalem Police said. In the same video, police said Cooper “showed the man’s legs and feet covered in blood” before calling for help to dispose of the body.

Police went to Cooper’s home to investigate the situation. When they arrived, Cooper fled, and police said they found a “young woman dead on the bathroom floor.” He appeared to have been shot, police said, and there was “significance that extensive work was done to clean up the crime scene.”

Cooper was found a short time later and arrested. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, which obtained a probable cause affidavit for Cooper’s arrest, there was a gun, a holtua and no firearm in the vehicle. When police arrested Cooper, he told them “it was an accident,” The Inquirer reported.

The affidavit obtained by The Inquirer said the victim had been at Cooper’s home earlier in the day watching an unnamed Netflix series. Cooper is alleged to have adjusted the gun before the victim arrived. Sometime while they were hanging out, the girl went to the bathroom, Cooper told police.

CBS News has reached out to police for more information.

Cooper has been charged as an adult with criminal homicide, possession of criminal tools and tampering with or tampering with physical evidence. He was denied bail and booked into the county’s Edison juvenile detention facility. Police are now looking for more information about the incident.
