Authorities have arrested a Pennsylvania teenager who allegedly killed a girl and asked for help on Instagram to dispose of the body.


Joshua Cooper, 16, has been charged with felony murder in the death of a 16-year-old girl, according to the Bensalem Police Department.


The suspect allegedly confessed on an Instagram video message to killing the victim. Then, the suspect allegedly showed “the man’s legs and feet covered in blood,” the release said.


The suspect also allegedly asked for help in disposing of the body.

According to authorities, the acquaintance’s mother notified police, who were able to locate the suspect at his home in Bensalem.


When authorities arrived, Cooper allegedly fled.


At that time, the police found “a young woman dead on the floor of the toilet with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. There were also signs that there were many ways to clean up the area of ​​the crime,” according to the release, which did not specify a motive.


Cooper was caught and arrested a short time later, police said.


Cooper is also charged with possession of criminal tools and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.


The suspect did not post bail.


It is unclear whether Cooper has entered a plea to the charges. Court records do not show an attorney authorized to represent the suspect.
