After confirming the launch of the new Reno8 series, Oppo has announced that it will bring the company’s first tablet to India later this month.

Oppo will hold a hardware event on July 18. It will release Reno8, Pad Air tablet and Enco X series headphones.

The company has given a sneak peek of its upcoming Android tablet. It says the Pad Air is powered by a 6nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with AI System Booster 2.1. It offers smooth multitasking without lagging even when playing 3D mobile games and also ensures efficient battery usage.

The OPPO Pad Air has an ultra-thin body and the company claims it will feature an industry-first Sunset Dune 3D texture and proprietary OPPO Glow feature to offer a fingerprint-proof, scratch-proof cover for a smooth and durable feel.

It is also the first in its category to receive TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light eye comfort certification.

The tablet runs on ColorOS 12 for Pad. It supports several new features such as multi-device connectivity, two-finger split screen to view multiple apps simultaneously, dual windows that allow users to display two levels of the same app independently on the same screen, and four User-friendly reading experiences for a floating window with a finger.

The OPPO Pad Air allows users to switch from the Oppo phone’s display to its larger screen. It also supports features like drag and drop files and clipboard between devices.

As for Enco X2, it comes with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) feature. It supports 45dB depth and 4000Hz width ANC. This means that it can “remove” unwanted sounds while preserving the original audio signal so listeners can enjoy the music better.

It will also be the first headphone in the segment to support Dolby Atmos Binaural Recording, where users can efficiently record and play back audio.

It also comes with a Super Dynamic Balance Enhanced Engine (SuperDBEE) acoustic system developed in collaboration with Nordic audio giant Dynaudio.

The TWS earphones also come with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and the brand new Low Latency High Definition Audio Codec (LHDC) 4.0.

Oppo Reno8 comes in two variants – Reno8 and Reno8 Pro. They are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 and MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max series chipsets respectively.

They flaunt premium metal frames and an improved camera compared to their predecessors.
