(Pocket-lint) – Now, the streaming service run by Sky in the UK, is finally available on Android TVs, set-top boxes, such as Nvidia Shield, and Chromecast with Google TV.

This means that smart TVs from many manufacturers now have a dedicated application for this service – including Google and Android TV sets from Philips, Sharp, Panasonic and Toshiba.

All users have to do is download the latest version of the app now from the Google Play Store and sign in or sign up for a new account,

Now it’s different from many other streaming services because you can buy different membership subscriptions, including Sports, Cinema, and Entertainment. So you can choose the content you want – whether that’s live and on-demand TV shows from channels like Sky Atlantic and SKy Showtime, the entire Sky Sports line-up, or a wealth of current and archive movies.

There’s also a Hayu membership available, along with access to hundreds of reality TV shows.

Prices start at £4.99 per month for membership plans and you can cancel at any time (paying only for the current month).

As well as Android TV, it is now available to watch on many other devices – including iOS, Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, Sony, PlayStation and Xbox.
