Singer-songwriter and country singer Jake Flint died a few hours after his November 26 wedding but it wasn’t because of the COVID-19 vaccine, some social media users said.
An Instagram post, sharing an image of Flint’s COVID-19 vaccination record card, said: “Jake Flint, a country singer, died this week on his wedding night. He was 37 years old. more so, me. scared. SO glad I’m a pureblood!!!”

The punch card looks real. Flint posted it on Instagram on April 21, 2021, writing: “It’s been fun to the max and ready to make some tracks in Halifax or wherever. Better Key West.”
The Oklahoman, reporting on Flint’s death, reported on November 28 that the cause of death had not yet been determined.
Clif Doyal, Flint’s reporter and spokesperson for Flint’s family, said he could verify “from them, from my own knowledge, the sudden death and tragic death of Jake Flint is not related to the COVID-19 vaccine.”
