On October 28, Paul Pelosi, the husband of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was attacked in the couple’s San Francisco home, local and state authorities said.

David DePape, 42, is accused of breaking into the house and hitting Paul Pelosi in the head with a hammer. DePape faces multiple federal and state charges, including attempted murder and attempted kidnapping. Paul Pelosi, hospitalized after “waking up in a pool of his own blood” and undergoing surgery to repair a fractured skull and serious injuries to his arms and hands, according to Nancy Pelosi’s office and court documents.

Some people don’t believe in these concepts, calling them everything from speculation to fabrication. A recent Instagram post suggests that everything was done to distract Americans from trying to steal the midterm elections.

A video was released of President Joe Biden speaking on November 2nd about democracy, when he talked about the attack by Paul Pelosi.

“The fake Pelosi story she’s talking about has no place,” the post said. “We know what a false flag looks like. The old magic of creating fear and emotion no longer works. But they will try everything on election day.”

The post was marked as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false and misleading information on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.)

Allegations that this attack was a false flag are baseless.

The public released audio tapes police recorded of the incident as they spoke to Pelosi after she secretly called 911 from the bathroom at her home. US Capitol police, monitoring security camera footage from Pelosi’s home there, saw a man with a hammer break a glass door panel and break into the home, at said the Washington Post. San Francisco police arrested DePape after officers who arrived at the scene said they saw DePape hit Pelosi in the head with a hammer. Officials from that agency, the San Francisco District Attorney’s office, and the U.S. Department of Justice have spoken publicly about the pending case against DePape. The federal and state court records detail that case and the incident behind it.
