Meta has announced that it is testing ways to buy and sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to fans and collectors on and off Instagram.

Because of the need to be faster in many countries, Meta is testing the new feature with “a group of small producers in the US”.

Users can buy digital collections of their favorite creators from Instagram to support them, the company said in a blogpost.

In addition, Meta has expanded the list of digital collections that users can display on Instagram to include video and additional support for the Solana blockchain and Phantom wallet.

“People are making it easier to show appreciation for their favorite creators across our apps, helping creators strengthen their communities and build their businesses,” it said.

The technology expert has expanded access to subscriptions on Instagram to all authorized creators in the US, allowing more creators to generate consistent income and create close relationships with their most loyal followers.

In addition, Meta launched a giveaway on Instagram, starting with Reels, so creators can earn money from their followers.

Fans can buy ‘Stars’ from Instagram to donate and support their favorite creators on Reels, the company said.

Recently, Meta has published new features on Instagram to protect users from malicious activities, as well as updates to Passwords.
