Google may have released Android 12L for devices with larger and foldable displays, but there’s still a dearth of high-end Android tablets. However, Lenovo seems to have developed a new flagship tablet following the Tab P12 Pro that we reviewed earlier this year. The unreleased tablet has only appeared on the Google Play Console so far, but overall it’s a sign that the company is looking to bring the device to market.
Unfortunately, the Google Play Console listings don’t reveal all the details like the devices’ battery capacity or cameras. As seen in the image below, the listing confirms that Lenovo has registered the device as the Tab Extreme and assigned it the model number TB570FU. Additionally, the listing describes the tablet as having a display running at 3000 x 1876 pixels with 320 PPI. If so, then the Lenovo Tab Extreme seems to have an 11-inch panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10.
Additionally, the same listing shows a product render with thin display bezels, a landscape-mounted front-facing camera, and hardware buttons oriented like the iPad Pro. Elsewhere, the Lenovo Tab Extreme packs the Dimensity 9000, a powerful chipset that MediaTek has now replaced with the Dimensity 9200. For reference, the Dimensity 9000 uses one ARM Cortex-X2 core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A501 cores. and the Mali-G710 MP10 GPU are all based on the 4nm manufacturing process. Based on the same Google Play Console listing, Lenovo seems to be offering the tablet with at least 8GB of RAM and Android 13. It is currently unknown when Lenovo will introduce the Tab Extreme.
