noida: Aiming to provide better policing to people, more security to business professionals and make better arrangements for the safety of women, the new police commissioner of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Laxmi Singh, has highlighted her property after taking charge on Wednesday.
She said that Gautam Buddh Nagar district shares its borders with Delhi and as far as the police are concerned, there was a need to assess their standards accordingly.
“My effort will be to further strengthen the police system in NCR and create a reference point for other commissioners by his exemplary model,” Singh told reporters during a press meet on Wednesday.
“The police in Noida is often compared with the police in Delhi and considering this, there is a need to evaluate our standards. We will work to ensure security for all professionals and the business class. We will also ensure the suppression of organized crime like” and for the government’s zero tolerance policy for crime,” Singh also said.
