Jonathan Haggerty teased the fight later on Instagram | Tech Reddy

Still recovering from his last fiery fight at ONE on Prime Video 4, ‘The General’ Jonathan Haggerty teased another fight in the works on his Instagram, which got fans excited.

The Muay Thai sensation looks desperate to keep the momentum going after a bantamweight debut against Russian fighter Vladimir Kuzmin a few weeks ago.

After a long period of unemployment due to serious health and weight issues, who can blame the Europeans for trying to make up for lost time?

Haggerty fans were shocked when she posted on Instagram that she was posing with some new scars on her face this week.

He wrote in the caption:

“Recovery. Fight day has arrived 🔥🤴🏼@onechampionship”

Fans responded with the following comments:

“Yes!!”

“ I hope Saemapetch! 🤞🏻”

“Let’s go to the store🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Even former two-time world champion Aung La N Sang took to Instagram to express his surprise:

“Damn!!! Come back!!! 🔥🔥🔥”

Jonathan Haggerty quickly responded and said:

“@aunglansang yes brother 🔥”

According to one fan, Saemapetch Fairtex will not only be a great opponent for Haggerty but he will be a great challenge for someone who just moved up from flyweight to bantamweight.

The Thai native nearly avenged a loss to long-serving Rittewada Petchyindee at ONE 160: Ok against Lee II with a brutal KO finish in the second round.

The surprise match saw Saemapetch win the world title, so while the Saemapetch-Haggerty match is a spoiler, Saemapetch may be focusing on the Nong-O match as we speak.

Jonathan Haggerty wants to fight elbows with Muangthai PK. Saenchai

Jonathan Haggerty wants to fight a Thai fighter in five bantamweight divisions but he has one fighter he wants to cut elbows with: Muangthai PK.Saenchai.

The former Lumpinee Muay Thai world champion defeated Vladimir Kuzmin last July, so it should be a good fight for Jonathan Haggerty. The ‘Elbow Zombie,’ a lifelong Muay Thai fighter, has over 200 wins to his name and is currently 4-1 under ONE Championship.

Haggerty usually wins fights by decision, and Haggerty will hope that a long distance fight will give him a chance to score big on the cards. However, he doesn’t mind surprising Muangthai with a fight-ending elbow strike.

In a post-fight interview on ONE on Prime Video 4, Haggerty confirmed the idea and told the South China Morning Post (SCMP):

“100% [for the knockout], you know I have more elbows than him, you know. I think he just got it, it’s a load, I’ve flipped, I’ve jumped, you name it, I’ve got it all.”
