The Gujarat born cricketer recently shared a video of his intense training session on Instagram. In the video, Bumrah was seen doing some training at an indoor gym. “It’s not easy, but it’s worth it,” Bumrah wrote in the caption.
In international competition, Bumrah was last seen in the third T20I against Australia in September. Bumrah was expected to feature in the next three T20Is against South Africa in October, but he was ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury.

In Bumrah’s absence, the Indian bowling attack lacked strength and experience in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. In the Asia Cup, India lost the tournament in the Super Four stage. India reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup but the Rohit Sharma-led team failed to pick up a wicket in the fourth match, suffering a 10-wicket defeat at the hands of defending champions England.
