Instagram has launched a new feature that gives users the option to add a song to their photos.

According to @creators on Instagram, with Meta, users can add up to 90 seconds of music to their photo-targeted posts.

“Music is an important part of sharing on Instagram, and we’re excited to provide the ability to add music to Feed photo posts that you can with Videos and Stories,” it read. reading a section. “No matter what format works best to tell your story, you can add a soundtrack to your favorite photo moments to bring them to life.”

If you are ready to recover your IG photos, the process is very simple.

Create a poster with a photo that you want to share with your followers. So, before you hit “Share,” toggle it “Add Music.”

Search for a song you want to use or check IG’s “Trending” and “About You” sections for a track you want.

Once you find the song you want to use, select the part of the song you want to play and the length of the clip. Clips can be from 5 to 90 seconds.

Select it “done” then “Share” to publish your post in your feed. That’s all you have to do.

This new feature follows Instagram’s various music integrations, including sharing music to your DMs and music-based AR effects.

Overall, it looks like Instagram is working hard to bring the TikTok experience to its platform. Currently, Videos and videos have become the most used part of the social networking app.
