Instagram is providing users with another great opportunity to integrate music into the overall in-app experience.
Of course, you can add music to regular posts, which is something that many people didn’t see coming.
The company recently published a statement that stated the high value of music and the popularity of a feature for users of the platform. People get a chance to express themselves through this program, and they couldn’t be more excited to put this energy into the photos on their User Profiles. It’s better to tell your story with words like music.
Basically, Videos and Stories give users the opportunity to add sounds that fit the mood of the picture or topic. No matter which format works best for storytelling, users have the opportunity to add music to their favorite pictures and bring them to life.
Before posting a picture, users can ‘Add Music’ to the post composer. You will have the opportunity to find different ways that can go along with the picture posting. A section between 5 and 90-seconds long can be selected for the track to be used. It just provides a lot of additional information and new features to the post in general.
Some may think that this is not true but others may think that it is similar to what TikTok is doing successfully by incorporating music. Remember, sounds are great for integrating content and adding a new dimension of creativity to reading on the app.
And another school of thought says that this is still a picture. Really need a sky? Does it add more value to the post at hand or not?
By now, we think Instagram has really figured out the problem, so it’s good to go. It is a very common feature that may be part of many devices and components in the pipeline. As mentioned by the app, there are many music tracks for Movies and Videos. Therefore, introducing something similar for images may not be a significant development.
As for the signs related to the signs, in our opinion it is only a small part. Similar to the way you were restricted from using certain sounds on Videos or Stories, it is now restricted to licensed tracks through the company’s Sound Collection of images and sounds.
