‘Tis the season of forgiveness, the time to wipe the slate clean and give second chances to those who have wronged you (or hung up there are too many pictures of their food).

One way to get into the spirit is to bring people back into your life by unfollowing their Instagram accounts – past hurts are gone for everyone.

If it’s like you, you’re ready to invite old frenemies onto your Insta feed — if that’s true you’re clearing your feed for peace (no FOMO) this festive season — then Metro.co.ukA helpful guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Block and Unblock to your heart’s content

In ‘Blocked Accounts’ you can view a complete list of all accounts you have blocked.

If you want to add a new person to the list you can do so by selecting the plus icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

To unblock an instagram user just press the blue ‘Unblock’ button by their username. You can unblock as many accounts as you like in one sitting but beware of over-blocking because Instagram will mistake you for a bot and freeze the blockhouse for the short time.
