GURUGRAM: A forest department official and his friends were allegedly beaten up by bouncers outside a club in a mall. MG Road Monday night. The injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital.
Police said Dev Kumar, Range Officer of Nuh Forest Department, told them that he and his four friends had gone to a club on Monday night. After leaving the club, one of them forgot his phone inside and Kumar went inside to retrieve the phone, while the others waited outside, he said.
“It was when one Manjeet, claiming to be one of the staff, came and started an argument with them. Meanwhile, some bouncers from another club came and beat us up. The bouncers even threatened to kill us,” Kumar told the police.

Police said they received the complaint on November 1 for some altercation outside a club in Sahara Mall. However, the police did not file an FIR immediately and went to check the CCTV footage.
“We are investigating the matter. The reason behind the altercation is not yet known. However, the CCTV footage has been scanned and the bouncers are being identified,” said a police official.
