Srinagar- Ahead of the highly anticipated Fifa World Cup match between the US team and Iran on Tuesday evening, some fans of Iran’s el-eMilli team bought a new LED TV for the game.

Ibrahim Mukhtar, a salesman from Moti Mohalla Dal said he is not a big fan of Football but he likes Iran as a country.

Ibrahim said although he bought an LED TV for about R13,000 yesterday, however, the installation of the ‘gadget’ is still an issue.

“The company man is coming to install you. He told me, he is on his way, I told him directly, if he does not put it in tonight, he will have to return it” said Ibrahim.

“As I am a Muslim, I support the Iranian team, I don’t like the US, I hope the game can support us,” said Mukhtar.

Hilal Akbar, from Delina town of North Kashmir said he is grateful to his brother who bought the LED for the game.

“My brother bought this out of his own pocket. We plan to watch the game with family and friends. We strongly want Iran to win,” said Hilal.

Javeed Ali is another Iranian fan from downtown Srinagar. His reasons for supporting the Iranian party are political.

“I bought a big smart TV for Wednesday’s conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the US. I really want Iran to beat the US to crush its arrogance and arrogance”

“I want to watch it live on a new gadget”.

“Iran is now a target of Western powers from all sides. There is a lot of media propaganda and misinformation being spread against Iran. In this situation, Iran is in dire need of a breakthrough that can bring comfort to the people of Iran in general and the Islamic world in particular”

We pray that Iran will host the US in the soccer game on Wednesday, Insha Allah” Javeed said.
