Today, we’re announcing that we’re testing two new ways to help you build your Instagram experience. And we are sharing a list of controls and methods that you can use to see what you want in your Instagram Feed.

We are testing the ability to flag multiple posts in the Browser as Unwanted. We will keep those posts hidden and not show you similar ones in the future.

Use Favorites and Follows

The Instagram user interface shows where you can add or remove accounts from your Favorites list.

Manage Your Sensitive Content

We always have rules for what content should be on Instagram, and we’ll call these Community Guidelines. For example, we do not allow hate speech, bullying or other comments that may cause harm to people. However, you may see content that does not violate the rules, but may cause some problems.

We know that everyone has different preferences, so you can decide to leave things on them, or you can adjust the Advanced Content Control to see certain types of sensitive content. . To view your Sensitive Content Controls go to your profile, tap the Settings menu, tap Accounts and tap Sensitive Content Controls.
