Bronny James’ journey may heat up in the coming months as the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James begins his senior year of high school basketball.

The 18-year-old, who attends Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California, will finish the season against the King Drew Magnet Eagles of Los Angeles. His younger brother, Bryce, will also play for the Trailblazers this season as a sophomore.

Bronny is ranked No. 34 on the ESPN 100 for the class of 2023 and he has received scholarship offers from prestigious teams such as the Memphis Tigers and Michigan Wolverines.

Off the court, Bronny has been busy. He’s ready to work — and be — a popular, smart college recruit and take his talents to show business.

Here’s what Bronny is up to as he begins his senior season of basketball:

August

In early August, Bronny and Bryce visited the Lakers’ practice facility for a workout with Dad. One highlight from the event was Bryce, LeBron and Bronny throwing down dunks in a hurry.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated in August, James expressed his desire to play with his sons in the NBA.

“I’m going to really look at who got the first pick in 2024, 2025, things like that; 2026, ’27. I’m going to focus on that kind of thing,” James said. “I feel like I can play for a long time. So it’s all about my body, but most importantly, my mind.”

Bronny will be eligible for the NBA draft in 2024 and Bryce in 2026. James can become a free agent in 2024, so all three could end up on an NBA roster.

September

Bronny’s September began with a trip to Ohio State University. He and his father attended some Buckeyes football on Sept. 3, watching the team defeat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 21-10.

Bronny joined the school’s “Go Bucks” chant and the Ohio State crowd expressed their desire to have the 18-year-old on campus.

On Sept. 6, Bronny posted a picture of himself in Ohio State basketball jerseys on Instagram. The Buckeyes were one of the teams that offered Bronny a hoops scholarship.

The photo shoot didn’t stop, as Bronny joined her family for a shoot with Vanity Fair. LeBron posted a photo of himself on his Instagram page on September 13.

October

October 6th is Bronny’s 18th birthday and she will be celebrating that week. He hosted a birthday party at Harriet’s Rooftop bar in West Hollywood, California, with a live performance by rapper Travis Scott.

LeBron shared an emotional message with his oldest son on Instagram on his big day.

Later that month, Bronny starred alongside his father in a Beats by Dre commercial. Bronny signed the name, image and work style to the company and posted the news on his Instagram account on October 17.

On October 22, Bronny posted behind-the-scenes photos from a commercial for his father’s Nike LeBron 20 sneaker, where LeBron battles “Father Time,” played by actor Jason Momoa.

On October 10, Bronny named the five celebrities who recorded NIL performances for the sportswear brand.

November

Nike released another commercial featuring Bronny with his father and Momoa in early November.

The drama continued for Bronny as she and her father starred alongside actor Ben Stiller, her son Quinlin, actor John Travolta and her daughter Ella in an ad for new video game “God of War: RagnarΓΆk”.

On November 9, the day of the game’s release, LeBron posted a video on Instagram of himself with Kratos, the main character in “God of War,” with Bronny.
