Tyler Anderson had an amazing season for the Dodgers in 2022. He went 15-5 with a 2.57 ERA, and made it to the All-Star game for the first time in his career.
He received a $19.65 million bonus offer from the Dodgers, but wanted more stability with a multi-year contract. The Angels gave him three years and $39 million, and that deal was too good to pass up.
However, Anderson’s decision to leave the Dodgers was not an easy one. And he took to Instagram to express his gratitude for his time with the Dodgers.

Dodger fans will be sad to see Anderson in a different uniform next year, but it’s hard not to be happy for the contract he got. He will make more money in this contract than he did in his previous eight years in the MLB. Good luck in Anaheim, Tyler!
