New Delhi, November 27: The cyber squad of the North Delhi Police has arrested a youth for allegedly posting malicious messages to harm a minor girl and her sister by creating their fake IDs on Facebook and Instagram instead of mocking his mother.

In the last two years the youth has been harboring hatred towards the girls. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of North Delhi, Sagar Singh Kalsi said that a complaint has been received at the North Cyber ​​Police Station regarding harassment on social media by a person who unknown. “Inspector Pawan Tomar arrested the youth through technical investigation,” Kalsi said. During the interview, a statement was made about the little girl who said that someone had created fake IDs on Facebook and Instagram in the name of her and her sister.

During the investigation, information was obtained about the information on Instagram and Facebook, including IP addresses and the phone number used in the registration of the said message. The details of these IP addresses were also retrieved from the concerned telecom operators, thus, the phone number and IMEI Number used in the crime were found and the identity of the accused was revealed. Detective Pawan Tomar eventually caught the youth.

“In 2020, the mother of a teenager had an argument with one Shahid Malik. The teenager told us that his mother was scolded by Malik and his daughters. So he decided to pay and make IDs Instagram and fake Facebook. He tried to follow. The accused and his sister on their Instagram IDs from where he took pictures and videos of both of them and posted them on fake IDs,” said said the police.

Police said the suspect produced multiple IDs of the two sisters, which he later destroyed. Currently, there are only two Facebook IDs running. Recently he contacted the accused on his Instagram ID where he wrote offensive messages to the accused, the police said.
