New Delhi [India]Nov 28 (ANI): In a chilling analogy to the Shraddha Walker murder case, the Delhi Police on Monday arrested a woman and her son for allegedly killing her husband and dismembering him and storing the bits in a fridge.
Police said the man killed his father with the help of his mother, dismembered his body and kept it in a fridge.
The incident took place in Trilokpuri of the national capital.
Body parts were dumped in various areas of Pandav Nagar and East Delhi, officials added.
After midnight, the police arrested the man by hiding in front of Chand cinema.
The case comes in the wake of the sensational murder case in which accused Aftab Poonawala killed his live-in girlfriend Shraddha Walker and chopped her body into 35 pieces in May this year. He stored the cut parts in a refrigerator and gradually disposed of them in the forests of South Delhi and Gurgaon.
The accused is currently in Delhi Police custody and is undergoing a polygraph test today.
