Conor Coady’s latest Instagram post prompted some lighthearted comments from some past and present Wolves players.
The defender is currently preparing for the World Cup with England, which starts today.
Qatar will face Ecuador in the first match, while the Three Lions will take the field tomorrow against Iran in the first match of the group.
England have come into the tournament in a bad mood, hoping to overcome the odds with a win against Iran at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Ahead of this first game, England’s players have worked hard in the scorching heat and enjoyed some down time.
It is important that everyone is calm and ready to go to the competition.
Sportswear manufacturer adidas has done a campaign before the tournament, taking pictures of some players with the hashtag #createdwithadidas.
Coady has been involved, and yesterday he shared a photo from his photoshoot wearing an orange blazer and yellow t-shirt combo, along with an orange tank top.
The 29-year-old is holding up a pair of boots, captioning the photo ‘Cleaning up gear for a big month ahead…’
Many of Coady’s Wolves teammates, past and present, have spoken out about his post and have had mixed reactions to the story.
Pedro Neto: “My brother is very proud. Finally, you got what you wanted. That model picture is great, my friend.”
Matt Doherty: “Just lol.”
Ruben Neves: “Naaaaaah.”
John Ruddy: “They like to let them wear their own clothes!!”
Morgan Gibbs-White: “Oh you’ve changed so much but I’m so happy.”
Jose Sa: “A wonderful friend.”
Barry Douglas: “It’s good to see you looking good.”
Dave Edwards: “Oh my shirt.”
It seems to be very subjective, and Coady seems to have really divided the audience with this one.
