Bachelor Nation breakups aren’t easy — and Erich Schwer’s Instagram story about his breakup with Gabby Windey is proof. Although the couple broke up The Bachelorette happily, their honeymoon period did not last long. On November 4, they confirmed their separation to People. And on November 15, Schwer took to IG to explain their split.
“Many of you are reaching out with questions about me and Gabby. The truth is that the end is not ours. [other’s] the people — it’s hard not having something to put your finger on,” Schwer wrote. “We met in a very unique situation and in a very unique way and I’m grateful to us. Gabby is an amazing person and she did an amazing job. I will always root for her and I hope she will he gave them hell [Dancing With The Stars] last.”
The Graduate The competitor also had time to reflect on his own progress. “I’ve learned and grown a lot this year from experiences and mistakes and I’ll continue to better myself every day,” Schwer said. “I’m looking forward to spending this time with my family and loved ones and focusing on myself. I’ve worked hard these past few months and I’m happy to share with you at the end.
Her comment came after Windey opened up about their split on the November 14 episode of DWTS. “I just went through a breakup. The end of our relationship happened because we were both not aligned and in sync with each other in terms of our common goals or approach. to live,” he said on the show Have fun tonight. “We’re not really competing with each other.”
On November 4, a source said Hey! it was Windey who called it quits. “He felt it wasn’t the same and it wasn’t on the same side,” an artist told the outlet. “Gabby was hoping they could give each other time and make it work but ultimately decided there was no future,” the source said.
