Mumbai: In the latest scenario in Charlene Chopra and Rakhi Sawant’s ongoing controversy, the former shared a tweet saying that nudity does not equate to consent.
Taking to the microblogging site, Charlene wrote in Hindi, “Hamari ladai yaun shoshan/ yan shoshan kene walon ke khilaf hai. Nyay ki guhar lagane ka hamara sambaidhanik (constitutional) haq (right) hai. Yeh haq na humsen. Baat hamare oropion ki behen sun lane or Society is lean. Nudity does not equate to consent. Being unclothed is not kingship.”
Charlene’s post comes after Rakhi filed a police complaint against her at Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station for making derogatory comments.
Rakhi spoke to the media and said that Charlene’s comments have affected her personal life a lot as her boyfriend has started questioning her.
“I’m really sorry to say that her comments about me have caused turmoil in my life. Because of her, my recent boyfriend asked me ‘Is there any truth to what Charlene is saying’, am I? She really has 10 boyfriends.” . He just came and said whatever he wanted in the media and now I have to pay for it,” she said.
Charlene, who earlier filed a police complaint against #MeToo accused filmmaker Sajid Khan, recently got into a war of words with Rakhi for coming out in support of Sajid and Raj Kundra.
Along with the tweet, he also attached a video from Lehren saying, “What are you going to do? You’re going to expose me? If you want to expose, then go and expose your brother Raj Kundra who is the king of pornography first, and #MeToo accuser Sajid Khan.” Leak. What kind of cheap woman is she? Rakhi and her lawyer say they have filed a case against Charlene and Rakhi is speaking “on the basis of evidence”.
They also played the alleged video of Charlene Chopra during the interaction with the media. Rakhi also alleged that Charlene “blackmails powerful people for money”.
Sajid was embroiled in the #MeToo controversy in 2018 when nine women from the industry – who had worked with him on various projects – accused the filmmaker of sexually harassing them.
Apart from Charlene, actresses including Saloni Chopra, Ahana Kumra and Mandana Karimi have filed allegations against her. (ANI)
