Bryan Harsin’s wife, Kes, seems to have given Auburn a soft shot.

Auburn fired Harsin as football coach on Monday, after nearly a year of talk and talk, following a 9-12 record over two seasons.

On her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Kes Harsin posted a quote that didn’t exactly apply to Auburn — but her sentiments seemed to be the opposite.

In a separate message, he also sent a message from one of their daughters, wishing the patriarch of the family on his 46th birthday.

Harsins’ daughter Devin posted a family photo, saying, “Family is everything. Happy birthday Dad!!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!”

On Tuesday, Bryan Harsin released a statement, expressing regret over his firing but gratitude for his time at Auburn.

“I am deeply saddened that I will not be able to lead the Auburn football program with these players in the future,” he wrote. “I poured my heart and soul into this project and team. We stood together in the face of great challenges and outside noise.

He said he was proud of the fact that “he did the right thing, it wasn’t always easy” and he said that he was doing something different to be successful in the future.

“Like life, my family and I now turn the page and chart our next course, always thankful for the great relationships made and memories made on the Plains, ” he finished speaking. “Thank you for letting us be a part of the Auburn family.”

Harsin received a $15 million buyout from Auburn when he retired.
