Collecting antiques has been a human activity for a long time. Some collect money, others into vintage stamp collection. Sometimes, there are people who like to collect unique items that are not only old, but also of great value.

A passport collector posted a video of a British Indian passport from 1927 on Instagram. After this, the video went viral.

In a video posted by Instagram user Passport Guy, he claims to show a passport holder from Mumbai (pronounced Bombay) named Dr Balabhai Nanavati.

The passport, which was used until 1932, was of an old fashioned design, royal blue in color and with the monogram of the British monarch at the time. It also has the owner’s photo and signature, along with his travel diaries.

At the same time, Dr. Nanavati has several hospitals named after him in the city.

“1927-32 British colonial Indian passport issued to a prominent doctor from Bombay who traveled to Europe in the late 1920s,” says the caption of the video posted by the user.

After the video was posted on social media on October 29, it has received 17,163 likes and over 3.7 million views.

“I’m an Indian, I’ve never seen a passport this old and expensive, you’re really doing it,” said the fourth. “This is a real vintage, it lives up to its name. It has a lot of history,” said another person.
