Calgary Stampeders cornerback Bo Levi Mitchell took to his Instagram page Monday to say goodbye to the city he’s called home for the past decade.

Mitchell entered the Western Conference Finals late Sunday in relief of Jake Maier but was unable to help his team complete the comeback in a 30-16 loss to the BC Lions. . He also said after the game that he plans to move on from the Stampeders this offseason as he pursues a starting job elsewhere in the league. He will become a free agent in February 2023.
The 32-year-old threw for 32,541 yards, 188 touchdowns and 89 interceptions in 10 seasons with Calgary and was the club’s all-time leading rusher in August. He won two Gray Cups as a member of the team and was twice named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player.
