Popular K-pop girl group ‘Blackpink’ officially wrapped up their North American tour, where the group’s member and singer Jisoo expressed her gratitude and love on her Instagram when she wrote an emotional text with concert pictures.
The singer posted several pictures and wrote, “It’s been 3 years since we met our BLINKs on tour and I was amazed by your love and strength !” The singer would like to thank his fans for the amazing night and the passes and happiness that made the tour a success.
Jisoo also announced that the group will be going on their planned European tour, which will begin on November 30th starting in London, followed by Barcelona, Cologne, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
Blackpink’s North American tour named after their new album, ‘Born Pink’ kicked off in Dallas, Texas on October 25, followed by impressive performances in Hamilton, Houston, Chicago, Newark, and Los Angeles. The group’s star-studded line-up also featured Camila Cabello joining the group in Los Angeles, where Jisoo and Camila gave their best performance for ‘Liar.’
After constantly releasing hits and rising to become a strong name in the k-pop industry, this is Blackpink’s first world tour after two years. The band recently celebrated their sixth anniversary with the release of their album ‘Born Pink’, which topped the charts with songs such as ‘Venom’ and ‘Shut Down.’
Blackpink has 4 girl groups including singers Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa. Blackpink is called the ‘biggest girl group in the world’ and is the most successful Korean girl group on the world stage.
The group is also the first female Korean to top the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with their song ‘Ice Cream’, where the group shared screen and vocals with singer Selena Gómez.
