An unknown thief made off with a bag containing Rs 7 lakh from a wedding ceremony in Bilaspur area of Gurugram, police said on Wednesday.

According to the complaint filed by Pawan Kumar, a resident of Vora Kalan village, his niece’s wedding ceremony was held at a marriage house near Sidhrawali on Monday night.
“It was around 4 am on Tuesday when I went to bless the married couple. I kept the bag containing Rs 7 lakh near my chair. After returning, I found the bag missing and called the police,” said Pawan Kumar. In his complaint.
An FIR under section 380 (burglary in residence) of IPC has been registered against unknown accused at Bilaspur police station.
Police said they are trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage, but have not found any clue so far.
