Art exhibition concluded with participation of various artists in Delhi | Tech Reddy

Be it an expression of thought or an opinion on society and issues arising in the country and the world, painting is a very powerful medium to convey your vision to people and influence them. Yet, when it takes a shape, every message associated with it is imprinted forever in the minds of every special-and-man who sees the painting.

A similar painting exhibition was organized at the Indo-French Cultural Center in New Delhi. Well Done Art Academy and Maharaja Academy of Fine Art and Craft jointly organized the exhibition. The specialty of this exhibition is that all the paintings in it are created by children. Each painting is special in itself, which contains hundreds of expressions inside the painting.

This painting exhibition is being organized for the last 11 years. Former Union Minister and former BJP President Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Ambassador Deepak Bohra and Dr. Jitendra Nagpal inaugurated the art exhibition by lighting the lamp.

Murali Manohar Joshi was greatly influenced by children’s paintings. He admires each painting and notices the expressions expressed by the children on the canvas.

In the art programme, 125 children were honored with the distribution of trophies for their paintings. Children are also very happy to have their art appreciated.

DPS (East of Kailash, Delhi) student Kaushal Saadiyant’s admirable painting was much appreciated by those present at the function and to Kaushal’s delight, the painting was sold for Rs 1.5 lakh.

These images prove that if these children’s skills are sharpened they can create their own identity not only in the country but also in the world.

Amita Kaur, founder of Drawing Institute, Weldon Academy, is a self-taught artist from New Delhi. Art and creativity is in her DNA as both her parents are BFA from College of Art-Delhi. Amita’s art gallery in Gurugram was conceptualized and looked after by her father and noted artist MR LR Gandhi is also the president of MAFAC (Maharaja Academy of Fine Art and Craft) based in New Delhi and Gurgaon. Mrs Gandhi is the Creative Head of MAFAC and conducts art classes, seminars and several workshops for older children and adults.

Gandhi extensively researched and beautifully painted the incredible ghats of Benares on canvas. He has also published a collection of his paintings on avatars of Lord Vishnu which have been universally acclaimed.

Amita Kaur organized several exhibitions in February 2016 at Gurudwaras in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague (Netherlands). Exhibitions were warmly received by the Indian diaspora where he displayed his paintings on Sikh Gurus and historical Gurudwara Sahibs.

Amita Kaur also conducts art therapy workshops with socio-religious organizations to help the society with knowledge about its subject. Being passionate about her profession, she makes every effort to encourage children to draw from their heart and soul. He strongly believes in the power of an art brush as a reflection of our thoughts and society.

Children come up with amazing artwork in this positive environment and gain immense confidence in expressing their ideas. Amrita also conducted several online art workshops during the pandemic to help children overcome their anxiety and insecurities.
