ANN ARBOR – In the days leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, Zingerman’s Delicatessen fans on Instagram started seeing strange posts from the official account.
The popular Ann Arbor deli started sharing off-label stories written in first person encouraging students to make money “investing” with another user.
The latest news was released on Monday, November 28.
Zingerman’s is asking its students to avoid interacting with ads and posting information if possible.
The director of marketing and communications for the Deli, Jennifer Santi, had the following to say:
“The Instagram account for Zingerman’s Delicatessen on Monday, November 21st. We are working with Instagram to regain control of our account and hope to resolve things. We ask that you do not ignore it. Follow our posts or report spam. We look forward to sharing fun, delicious food content with our Instagram community now.
