People get tattoos for different reasons. From commemorating special occasions to celebrating their achievements, the reasons are varied. Often times the information about why a person gets a tattoo also surprises people. One such piece is by Instagram user Elliott Colvin who got a bus route tattooed on their arm for a special reason.
“Name something more famous,” they wrote while sharing a picture of their tattoo on Instagram. They also added a line to show their appreciation to the tattoo artist. “Thank you @maisieellistattoos for making my 192 dream come true,” they added.
The tattoo means a lot to bus-loving Colvin, according to the Mirror. Turns out, that’s how they met their friend Wil Saunders.
“It’s kind of nerdy, to be honest. My friend is a train shooter. We’ve been together for almost five years and I’ve always been into cars and travel,” they told the Mirror. “People make fun of it but this is the most reliable bus. There are signs like this. It is important,” they said.
They also explained how they first became interested in the bus route. “When I moved to my first flat in Manchester with Wil, I was shocked that the bus came every two minutes. I thought it was really cool. We’ve lived in four different places in Greater Manchester and Stockport and times My local bus is 192. I have work and I go home,” they explained.
“Everybody knows it [in Manchester and Stockport]. I like these non-traditional tattoos that don’t have a deep meaning but I like them,” they added.

Since its distribution, the post has received many appreciative responses. “Damn this love is so hot!” wrote an Instagram user. “This is valid for MegaRider for the whole season,” said a spokesman for a similar ticketing system in the UK. What do you think about this unusual tattoo?
