Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt became the proud parents of a baby girl on November 6 and after giving birth to a healthy baby, Alia was discharged from the hospital around 9:30 am today.
Alia gave birth at the HN Reliance Hospital in Gurgaon, Mumbai, hours after arriving at the hospital with husband Ranveer.
Ranbir Kapoor was by Alia’s side as she was taken to the hospital for delivery. Their families, including Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and Ranveer’s mother Neetu Kapoor, visited the actor and their yet-to-be-named newborn at the hospital.
After the news of the birth of Alia and Ranbir’s baby, social media was flooded with messages congratulating the couple. A tweet read, “Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are blessed with a baby girl. Congratulations to the couple.” Sharing Alia’s picture, a fan tweeted, “This baby girl is a mother of a baby girl.” As the couple shared their first moments with the new baby, their fans gathered outside the hospital hoping to catch a glimpse of Alia and Ranveer’s baby.
Alia and Ranveer got married in Mumbai in April. The couple had an intimate ceremony attended by their close friends and family. Alia will soon be seen in the much-hyped international spy thriller Heart of Stone opposite Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Alia and Ranveer’s last film was Brahmastra, where the two were seen together for the first time. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, this film is one of the hits of this year in India.
