It’s a girl! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a baby girl on Sunday (November 6). The actress arrived at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, at 7 am and gave birth to a baby girl at 12:05 pm. Alia Bhatt shared the announcement on her Instagram handle saying, “And in the best news of our life:- Our baby is here…what a magical girl. It’s really blowing we’re in love – blessed, misguided parents!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.” On Sunday morning, Alia and Ranbir were spotted arriving at the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. The couple got married in April this year in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence, Vastu and in June, Alia announced her pregnancy on her Instagram handle.

Last month, the Kapoors and Alia’s friends organized a baby shower at Alia and Ranbir’s Mumbai residence Vastu. Alia shared dreamy pictures from the celebrations and captioned the post, “right…love,” followed by yellow heart symbols. The event was attended by Kapoors and Bhatts, including Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima, Karisma, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and others.
