On Tuesday, November 22, the Saket court in Delhi extended Aftab Poonawala’s police custody for the next four days in the Shraddha Waqar murder case. He was produced before the court in a special hearing.

Poonawalla allegedly murdered Walker in May this year, then dismembered her body and dumped them over the next few months.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police on Monday got the court’s permission for the polygraph test of the accused.

A narco analysis is expected to be conducted on the accused on Monday, said Puneet Puri, head of forensic psychology department at the Forensic Science Laboratory. Quint“Medical tests will be done after the polygraph test and narcotics will be done after that. Narcotics will be done within 10 days.”

Delhi Police will resort to time-consuming narco-analytical procedures as crucial evidence like the missing murder weapon, remains, blood-stained clothes and Shraddha’s phone are yet to be found.
