A MAN from Newtown will face court for breaking into a house and stealing Glade air purifiers, including its contents.
Gareth Wyn Evans, of the Bell Hotel, Newtown, was charged with two counts of burglary and theft after allegedly breaking into a property in Lluest, Ystradgynlais, between April 23 and 25 this year and stealing a number of items.

The list of items includes a Sony Hi-Fi system, an LG TV, a Samsung tablet, five watches, a ring, a bracelet, a chain and a jewelery box containing some coins, a children’s money box containing coins, a Scout leather bag. A collection of 50p pieces, old style £20 notes, a Russell Hobbs kettle and toaster, an electric heater and several Glade plug-in air cleaners.
After appearing at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on November 18, the 42-year-old pleaded guilty, and the case will be referred to Swansea Crown Court on December 2.
Unconditional bail was given.
