The man paid the bill for TVS Jupiter with just coins. The incident took place in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, where the man handed over a total of 5,000 rupees. In the video, sales staff of an authorized TVS showroom can be seen counting coins. While the video has gone viral on social media, it is catching the attention of internet users. Also, this is not the first time someone has done something like this.

Even before, people have used unusual payment methods to buy cars or motorcycles. However, as per the new RBI rules, only payment up to Rs 2 lakh can be accepted, after which the seller can pay additional tax. As for the TVS Jupiter, the scooter can be purchased by making a full cash payment as it is priced from Rs 69,990 to Rs 85,246.

Speaking of the scooter, it is available with two engine options – 110 cc and 125 cc, and both use a CVT unit. The former is available in a total of 5 variants, and its motor belt produces a peak power of 7.9 PS and 8.8 Nm of maximum torque. The scooter rides on a set of 12-inch rims, which can be either alloy or steel rims, depending on the model you choose.

With a telescopic front fork and adjustable front suspension, the Jupiter weighs 107 kilos. The Jupiter 125, on the other hand, puts 8.16 PS against 10.5 Nm as its maximum output. Also, a more powerful Jupiter weighs a kilogram. Compared to the smaller Jupiter 110, the Jupiter 125 gets a fuel tank placed on the floorboard.
