On November 8, a man killed his 22-year-old girlfriend in a room at Mekhla resort, under the jurisdiction of Tilwara police station in Jabalpur district, Madhya Pradesh. After the murder, the man posted a video on social media confessing to the crime.

The murder came to light a month after the main suspect in the case posted a video on social media showing the girl lying in a pool of blood on a bed in the hotel room, and the man says “Bewafai Nahi Karne Ka (don’t cheat)”. He says he killed her because he was cheating on her. (Sensitive content maybe, the idea of viewers)

The video was recorded right after he tortured the girl by slitting her throat, and she was still alive at the time, as she was seen taking her last breath in the video. According to police, the video was posted on the victim’s Instagram account on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Shilpa Jhariya, a resident of Jabalpur from Barela. Later, the suspect posted another video in which he said he killed the girl because his business partner forced him to do so.

All the videos were posted from the victim’s Instagram account. It looks like it has been removed from the account. There are still many photos on Instagram of the victim that have been posted on his murder.

Abhijeet Patidar, the killer, said in the video that he and his friend were running a business in Patna. Abhijeet said that his girlfriend was dating his business partner. He allegedly forced them to give him Rs 12 lakh before fleeing to Jabalpur. Abhijeet went on to say that his friend had asked him to kill him.

According to TI SL Jhariya of Tilwara police station, it was found during the investigation that the deceased had come to the meeting on Sunday with a person named Abhijeet Patidar. In addition, the couple provided their own identity cards for authentication.

The dead woman’s identity was listed as Rakhi Mishra on the ID, which authorities later found to be a fraud. When the assembly workers were interrogated, it was learned on Sunday that the woman stayed with Patidar before leaving, while Patidar stayed at home.

On Monday, however, the woman returned to the tour. The victim was still inside the apartment when the man later left. Workers used a master key to unlock the door after the woman did not open the door until Tuesday morning, when she was found in a pool of blood.

Immediately after the notification, the police started investigating the matter. A search is underway for the occupant of the victim’s bedroom. According to SHO Jhariya, the CCTV footage is also being scrutinized for clues related to him.

The fact that the young man was traveling in a car has also come to the attention of the police. On Monday, the robber and the woman got into a cab to go to a hostel in Mekhla. The driver was interviewed by the police and they recorded his statement. The driver is said to have given a lot of information to the police. The police also said that Abhijeet Patidar is from Gujarat and not from Patna.
