The celebrity challenge is taking on TV’s first ‘non-binary host’ as Brihony Dawson debuts in the series.
The stars of Channel 10’s new series The Challenge have gushed over non-binary host Brihony Dawson.
During the premiere episode of the show on Monday a number of contestants – including MasterChef star Conor Curran – were quick to shower the host with praise.
The blonde star made quite the impression as they introduced themselves to the A-list crowd during the launch of the show.

‘Buenas Noches amigos,’ said Brihony, holding out her arms. ‘Welcome to the Australian Challenge.’
Love Island’s Audrey Kanongara was quick to note, ‘Brihony is an amazing ball of energy’.
While The Bachelor’s Brittany Hockley added, ‘They look like they won’t take any sh*t’ before noting the sensation of Brihony’s skimpy dress.
‘Brihony is Australia’s first non-binary host and for me it’s amazing,’ added Conor Curran. But every time I see them I’m going to hear something I don’t want to hear,’

Brihony spoke about non-binary and the importance of visibility, during an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
‘Growing up it was hard not to have someone like me on TV or in movies or anywhere in front of people.’
“Although being a role model scares me a little as I am still far from being perfect, it is my goal to be my true self and be a voice for those who have not yet fully found theirs,” they added.
Brihony spoke about being non-binary and the importance of visibility, during an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
The challenge was filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and features celebrity endurance challenges.
The series, which first aired in America in 1998, is a cross between Big Brother and Survivor.
The prize money received is $200,000.
‘It was really hard not to be anyone like me on TV or in movies or anywhere in front of people when I was growing up,’ they previously said.
