Nuvoco’s six RMC plants have received the GreenPro Ecolabel | Tech Reddy

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation, India’s fifth-largest cement group and East India’s leading cement player, in terms of capacity, recently received Green Pro certification for six of its ready-mix concrete plants. Potencheru, Miyapur (Hyderabad), Whitefield (Bengaluru), Sanathal (Gujarat), Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and Gurgaon (Haryana) have received the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC-CII) “Greenpro Ecolabel” for producing green concrete.

The Green Pro Ecolabel is accredited by the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) through GENICES (GEN’s Internationally Coordinated Ecolabelling System) to reduce the environmental impact of choosing sustainable products, materials and technologies in the building and manufacturing sector.

Compared to conventional OPC mixtures, Nuvoco’s EcoDir products – EcoDir, EcoDir Prime and EcoDir Plus – reduce carbon emissions by up to 60 percent. As a result, it is durable and an ideal choice for circular construction. Furthermore, the company issues Green Pro-Certificates to end customers who have consciously made an informed choice to purchase eco-friendly products with minimal environmental impact.
