As we discovered at Best Buy, Black Friday wouldn’t be Black Friday without some killer laptop deals.
The Asus ROG Flow X13 2-in-1 Gaming Laptop is currently only $999 at Best Buy. (opens in new tab). That’s a significant $600 discount on a 13.4-inch gaming laptop that packs great specs. Oh, and did we mention it can be folded into a tablet? Try it for less than $1,000.
We came away very impressed with our Asus ROG Flow X13 review. Its thin and light design makes it a surprisingly portable gaming laptop, and the 2-in-1 design adds another layer of versatility. In addition, the display is clear and the keyboard is comfortable. Overall, it’s hard to find a better all-round gaming laptop in the 13-inch form factor at this price point.
This is not to say that there are no problems. For a GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti is relatively underpowered, so you can play many modern games, but don’t expect maximum settings. And the machine does run a little hot, but in our review we found it’s not an issue if the laptop isn’t using 100% of its power.
Still, if you don’t need a high-end gaming laptop, this is an incredible deal. Finding that much power under the hood is a tough ask for many laptops, and the fact that the ROG Flow X13 is now only $999 makes it a killer deal. Add in impressive features like a 1TB SSD and a 2-in-1 touchscreen design, and I can guarantee you won’t find a laptop this versatile and loaded this cheap.
