Jeff Passan made some comments on Friday, but it was the manner in which he delivered the comments that drew attention.
Instead of breaking the news on his Twitter account like usual, Passan shared the news on his Instagram account. But he knows he has a huge audience on Twitter, so he told his Twitter followers to visit his Instagram page for updates.
There have been some marketing rumors on Instagram. At this point, it might be worth following me there. https://t.co/QF0LRF30kh

Passan’s job comes as a large number of employees have left Twitter, leaving the social media company with fewer employees. That has led to concerns that the end of Twitter is imminent now that Elon Musk is at the helm.
Although Passan is trying to move away from Twitter, it’s not doing well with his nearly 1 million Twitter followers.
Twitter users will keep the information from Instagram posted on Twitter.

They also expressed their displeasure with Passan, giving him the “disproportionate” treatment they sent his tweet and negative responses.

Yes, they were not happy with Passan’s methods.
