West St Andrew’s Kiwanis Club (KCWSA) Honorary President Leroy Johnson (right) recently presented a tablet to Tamala Boreland, a student at Tarrant Elementary School on Moline Road in the Corporate Area. A member of the school’s KCWSA-sponsored K-Kids Club, Boreland received the award based on academic achievement and consistency of behavior. K-Kids is the world’s largest elementary school student service organization that helps students develop leadership skills through collaboration and cooperation with others to advance their school and community and build character.
