Gatineau police said Wednesday that a pair of raids in October turned up large quantities of several illegal substances, including 98,702 methamphetamine pills.

The investigation, aimed at dismantling the drug-trafficking network, began last spring with a public tip, the force said in a media release. Officers executed a search warrant on Oct. 11 at an apartment and warehouse in Point Gatineau, Cantley.

A woman in her 30s was arrested and her case was to be handed over to prosecutors, police said, adding that the investigation was ongoing.
According to the police, the long list of seized drugs included 1.2 kilograms of hashish, 166 grams of psilocybin, 92.5 milliliters of HGB and 825 grams of orange-colored cocaine.
Also seized were more than $5,000 in cash, more than $30,000 in prepaid credit cards, a $55,000 Toyota Tundra truck, four GPS tracking beacons and an energy weapon commonly known as a Taser.
