It was a challenging night for Jordan Poole as the Warriors fell to the Miami Heat, 116-109 on Tuesday at FTX Arena.
Poole scored nine points and was 3-for-10 from the field as Golden State fell to 3-5 to start the 2022-23 NBA season. However, for the 23-year-old, the referees played a part in Poole’s disappointing game.
Poole was called up for three trips and the keeper took to social media to vent. The Warriors star took to Instagram, where he shared a clip from a Detroit Pistons-Philadelphia 76ers game in the early to mid-2000s in which point guard Steve Javie called Allen Iverson an easy layup. .
Along with the clip, Poole said, “The speakers are tonight in Miami.”
Poole isn’t the only one criticizing the officiating, as Steph Curry believes he botched three free throws that could have tied the game late in the fourth quarter.
