When I was TZR’s social media editor, our Instagram viewers loved a good manicure. From bright, playful colors in the summer to deep, dark colors in the winter, I can count on a great fit from the studs all year round. For that reason, I’m always on the lookout for the next big manicure trend. In 2022, we have mastered the classic nails. For 2023, I have a few candidates.
One of the favorite parts of my job is checking trends. Because I’m online and follow a lot of industry experts and foodies, I see trends in their beginnings. Now, I can try the same trends (if they suit my taste), and I can share them with the TZR audience. As for nails, my favorite trend at the moment is velvet nails. From a social media point of view, it’s great to watch videos of these manicures – it’s amazing the way the lighting catches the design.

While we’re on the trend of glittery nails, one glittery trend that I love are colorful chrome shapes. While silver chrome manicures will explode in 2022, I expect this colorful publication to play a major role in social media in 2023.

This is the perfect way to upgrade your soft pink manicure. Coffee is the perfect shade of hot pink and will add pizazz to all your winter looks.
